About Me

Most of my life has been spent with a camera in my hands. Being able to capture special moments with a camera has always been something that has brought a smile to my face and fulfilment to my life.
Some of my main focuses in photography are landscapes, architecture and documentary. I find that landscape brings joy and beauty while documentary brings excitement and fascination. I would class architecture as documentary as well, preserving the look and feel of a building while it changes through time. Landscape photography is what made me fall in love with photography. Being out in nature would always bring me great joy and being able to capture that feeling is what I always strive for when I shoot landscapes.
My documentary work is a mix of street and event photography. With event photography I love capturing how the event progresses, whether that’s a parade through a city or sports fans facing off against each other. Street photography on the other hand is a genre that has tested me the most. It is a fast paced style of photography that I find is one of the best ways of documenting the day to day lives of ordinary people, which I soon discovered is anything but ordinary.
My aim in photography is to capture memories. Memories can be quite fleeting at times but it is my hope that by capturing a beautiful landscape it will remind people of what they felt when they were last in nature, or by photographing an event it will remind people of the happiness they felt taking part in or even just watching a parade stride through a city with music blaring, people dancing and banners flying.
